Kim Whittaker is a Realtor®️ with Rapisarda Real Estate. Having previously worked as the Chief Operations Officer for a top producing team, Kim's real estate transactional experience began well before earning the title of Realtor®️. During this time, she learned about the hard work and dedication that makes a great Realtor to have on your side. She began her professional career as a Personal Banker for a large retail banking company in 2006. Quickly learning the ropes, she excelled and gained promotions as an Assistant Branch Manager and Small Business Advocate. Not only this, but she had direct experience with witnessing the real estate market through the scope of a banker. She learned how the lending practices of today came to be and why, giving her a full scope of the industry do’s and don’ts and how to best educate her clients. Soon she was promoted to Business to Business Outside Sales Consultant, where she educated business owners on Merchant Services and the various options to optimize business cash flow. This was a fast-paced and exciting career path that offered many opportunities to build relationships that still hold strong today.
After working in the financial industry for several years, Kim took a position with Solano County Health and Social Services where she learned how to work with people in need within the community, and government programs. She became certified to discuss and grant many different local and federal programs to help families in need and find resources to help those families get on their feet. She has also spent time working with The Vacaville Chamber of Commerce where she is able to work with our local businesses in the community, building relationships, getting to know and working with our City’s leadership, helping put together and run events, and, from there, becoming President of the Board of Directors of The Young Professionals of Vacaville as well as a Director on the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Through years of service and hard work, she has taken a leading role in expanding the group to become The Young Professionals of Solano. Working for the County and Vacaville Chamber taught her how much she loved her community and her desire to help kids, teens, and young adults make the right decisions, find their voices, and develop themselves into successful Young Professionals!
“Partnering with various non-profits including The Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club, The Opportunity House Homeless Shelter, Vacaville Public Education Fund, and CASA of Solano County is such a wonderful way for us to be involved in youth programs and get to know our future leaders!”
Her passion for helping people has proven her to be a wonderful and knowledgeable asset to have on your team in all manners, and especially in helping you reach your goals of homeownership. She does things with great care, attention to detail, and with the absolute best in mind for clients.
Her experience expands far beyond business. Kim Whittaker is a mom and wife in a beautiful blended family that consists of a loving husband, four kids ranging from elementary to college ages, adorable pups and kitties, and a supportive extended family. She spends time volunteering at local schools and non-profits, and coaches, team moms, and is a volunteer board member of various local youth sports. Kim understands the importance of being involved in the development of our youth who will become our future leaders, parents, educators, mentors, and professionals.
